A network of churches, pastors and Christian leaders working together for the good of the city and the growth of the church in Dublin.

ABOUT US

Every city in the world needs Jesus Christ. But our cities do not merely need a few more churches and ministries here and there; they need gospel city movements that lead to citywide tipping points. So urban ministers enthusiastically and passionately give their lives to see these goals, even though they may not see their consummation in their own lifetimes.
— Tim Keller

Much of our desire to work together is inspired by the writings of Tim Keller around City Movements.

Our conviction is that reaching Dublin for Christ will be something that no one church, denomination, or network could fulfil on its own. For the good of the city we live, work, and minister in, we believe we must work together.

Our prayer is that we might see something of what Keller calls a “gospel ecosystem” emerge in the city of Dublin, represented by the diagram here

Within that wider ecosystem, the Dublin Collective seeks to play a small but important role by fostering gospel-centred unity among Christian leaders and by providing theological reflection and ministry training for those involved in church planting and urban mission.

We believe that when church leaders know one another, pray for one another, and learn together, the wider work of the gospel in the city is strengthened.

To understand more of the thinking that underpins the Dublin Collective, we recommend reading:

WHO IS THE DUBLIN COLLECTIVE FOR?

The Dublin Collective exists for church planters and church leaders committed to the gospel in Dublin. We gather leaders from across denominations who are planting churches, preparing to plant, or supporting church planting, creating a space for fellowship, encouragement, and shared learning.

We are grateful for our connection with City to City Europe, whose mission is “to accelerate the planting of gospel-centred churches and church planting networks in the cities of Europe to see many people and places transformed by the life-giving power of King Jesus.”
Their vision and resources have helped inform the thinking behind the Dublin Collective.
